Dr. Nie uses acupuncture as a mainstay of integrative services for his patients.  He feels acupuncture and other complementary treatment modalities provide tremendous benefits to pets when integrated with conventional therapy.  Dr. Nie brings many years of academic and private practice experience to his integrative veterinary service.  His interest in acupuncture developed in the late 1990s while serving on faculty at Auburn University where he conducted and published acupuncture research on horses.

Dr. Nie offers acupuncture and other complementary treatment modalities as a referral only service to pet and horse owners in the region.  He would be pleased to talk with you or your veterinarian about how acupuncture or other integrative therapy might benefit your pet or horse.  You may contact Dr. Nie at 417-866-2923 or through this convenient contact form.
